Spot On Therapies clinical staff specialize in pediatrics

Speech & Language Therapy

Our experienced pediatric Speech Language Pathologists provide comprehensive evaluations and treatment for a wide variety of diagnoses including language and feeding. Our goals are to improve your child’s ability to interact, understand and communicate with the world around them and to ensure they are able to safely eat foods to nourish their bodies. All of our Speech Language Pathologists are certified by the American Speech-Hearing-Language Association (ASHA) and licensed by the State of Illinois.

Physical Therapy

Our experienced Physical Therapy staff focuses on thoroughly evaluating and treating children with a wide range of physical challenges. Physical Therapy services are enveloped in play based functional activities to improve a child’s balance, range of motion, strength and ability to move and function in his/her environment to enjoy all types of activities safely. All of our Physical Therapists are affiliated with the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and licensed by the State of Illinois.

Occupational Therapy

Our pediatric Occupational Therapists extensively evaluate each child to ensure that they can improve your child’s ability to participate in their basic “occupational” skills: his/her job of playing, moving, exploring and learning about the world around them while increasing your child’s success and functional independence. Our Occupational Therapists have extensive experience in sensory processing disorders and neurodevelopmental treatment to ensure that they are treating the whole child. All of our Occupational Therapists are affiliated with the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) and are licensed by the State of Illinois.

A.B.A. Therapy

Applied Behavior Analysis, or A.B.A., is a scientifically proven therapy that focuses on improving specific behaviors. It is effective for children with autism and disabilities in a variety of settings. A.B.A. involves many techniques for understanding and changing behavior and is a flexible treatment. With the guidance of our specialized Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBS), A.B.A. can significantly improve behaviors and skills and decrease the need for special services.
